This website is owned and operated by Makana Jewellery, a company registered and based in the United Arab Emirates.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of our website and services, including purchases made through our online store.

2. Eligibility

By using our website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order via email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of:

• Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment

• Unavailability of the product

• Errors in product description or pricing

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been accepted and processed.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the website and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We accept payment via all major credit/debit cards and any other payment methods listed at checkout.

By submitting your payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

• Makana Jewellery is based in the UAE and we ship locally and internationally to all destinations. Delivery times may vary based on your location, customs processing, and carrier delays.

• Delivers throughout the UAE are free on orders above AED 300.

• Domestic orders: estimated 2-5 business days ( do not include weekend or holidays ).

• International orders: estimated 5-15 business days ( do not include weekend or holidays ).

• For faster delivery times extra fee's is optional.

• Please note for personalized Jewellery please allow upto 1-3 day for the design to be complete before shipping.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, natural events, or courier issues beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or fees imposed by their country's authorities.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please contact our customer service department by email. You have the right to return eligible items under the following conditions:

Eligible Returns

• Item received is defective, damaged, or significantly different from the product description.

• If you are not completely satisfied ( wrong spelling or damaged ) with your peronalized Jewellery providing the item is new and unworn you may return it.

• We would need proof of damage.

Non-Returnable Items

• Items that have been worn, used, or altered.

• Customised or personalised jewellery.

• Items returned beyond the 14 days delivery without prior approval.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-14 business days.

• Shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.

• Please note that there will be 30% non-refundable fee on all items.

8. User Accounts

If you create an account on our store, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our website or services to:

• Violate any applicable international federal laws or regulations.

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

• Interfere with or disrupt the security or functionality of our website.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.

• Engage in any activity that could harm our business reputation or that of our suppliers.

10. Limitation of Liability

Makana Jewellery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific order.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
